Trail Maintenance Hike

Registration is closed for this event
Whether you're an experienced maintainer or new on the trails, join us in ensuring that the trails stay clear and passable for the enjoyment of all trail lovers!

Trail Maintenance is clearing, cleaning, and blazing.  Trail maintainers use small hand tools to clip and cut brush out of the trail, remove debris from drainage structures, and paint or hang the markers used for route finding also known as blazes.

Join Lou Baldanza at the lovely Neversink River Unique Area to give back to some of its most beloved trails and learn first hand what it takes to be a trail maintainer in the field and adopt a trail segment of your very own!
