Invasive plants cause problems for our environment and make the habitat less useable by our native birds and butterflies. Our Invasives Strike Force volunteers help spot invasive plants so that we can schedule work days to remove them. You’ll learn easy ways to identify a set of invasive plants commonly found along the trails and how to record information about their locations. This webinar is the first of two required webinars to become fully trained and will focus on basic invasive species ecology, general plant ID and the specific ID characteristics of the invasive plants on the survey list. Part 2 will focus on survey protocols and reporting procedures- see events calendar for registration details.

Registration is required. You will receive an email from our Invasive Species Citizen Science Program Coordinator, Brent Boscarino, about 5 days prior to the workshop with more information. See you then!
