Where are the best places in New York and New Jersey for a snowshoe hike? Here are our favorites.

Given some snow, almost any trail you can hike is also a good place to snowshoe. Maybe even better--there's no mud, and no insects! Nevertheless, here are some recommendations of places to explore when snow falls in the greater New York metropolitan region.
