About the Lenape Trail Crew

If you enjoy connecting people with nature, the Lenape Trail offers a unique chance to do so. This "urban walking path" connects dozens of parks, nature reservations, and landmarks and is many people's first experience with hiking. The crew's work focuses primaily on making the trail more visible and accessible for new users.

Work trips are led by the Lenape Trail's volunteer Supervisor, with support from Trail Conference staff. To volunteer with the crew, visit our Events Page or email [email protected]

Where We Work

Anywhere along the Lenape Trail. We may be on the streets of Montclair one week and deep in the woods of Eagle Rock Reservation the next!

Training

No experience is necessary and beginners are encouraged to join us! We provide onsite training each worktrip.

Looking to learn a specific skill? Check out our workshop schedule for specialized courses being offered near you.
